Arizona Department of Revenue Extends Tax Filing Deadline

Late Friday, March 20, 2020, the Arizona Department of Revenue (ADOR), at the direction of Governor Ducey, announced that the deadline for filing and paying Arizona state income taxes is moved to July 15, 2020 in alignment with the federal filing extension.

The new deadline means that individual, corporate, and fiduciary Arizona state tax returns filed after the initial April 15th deadline will not be assessed late filing or payment penalties. The deadline extension will not affect Arizona taxpayers that have already filed for and received a federal extension.
