Melissa is a seasoned tax professional with over 20 years of experience as a tax, accounting, and business consulting professional. As a partner in the firm’s tax department, she helps grow professional staff, implements innovative technology, and ensures Price Kong continues to provide exceptional service to clients, all while running her own practice. Melissa also manages the firm’s nonprofit tax division and cannabis industry group. She understands the tax, accounting, and reporting complexities facing companies, particularly those in the cannabis industry. She is a recognized leader in Arizona and throughout the United States as a subject matter expert on business tax compliance, tax strategy, tax advisory, mergers and acquisitions, consolidations, and business formation. Melissa’s approach combines deep tax expertise with a strong understanding of GAAP. She is known for her clarity, responsiveness, and commitment to helping clients meet their financial goals. Melissa is a member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and the Arizona Society of Certified Professional Accountants (ASCPA).
